Ashely and Matt had everything planned from the start – between selecting two outfits to wear at the shoot, one casual and one formal – to choosing the perfect location and style for their engagement shoot. Since the wedding features a 1920s theme, the couple wanted to use that ambiance in their engagement photos. The vintage feel and look of Downtown Bay City was the ideal option to create stunning pictures with the help of Doreen Howell, of JDHowell Photography.

The couple had a range of props to use to complete the overall theme of the shoot – including vintage automobiles and accessories. The lighting featured throughout was spectacular thanks to the organization of Doreen, as she created a timeline in which to get the best pictures. There is a beautiful blend of vintage and modern in each of the pictures, creating a lovely touch for this happy couple!
