Bride Anita and Groom Will knew exactly what they wanted for their wedding: soft romantic elements with a vintage twist. What they didn’t plan on: rain.
But instead of letting the weather damper their day, the couple embraced it, tying the knot in a traditional Catholic Mass and stealing first kisses under an umbrella that matched the groom’s sleek navy blue tuxedo. Even in the rain, the bride was stunning in a fairytale inspired, beaded sweetheart ball gown. A taupe sash added a vintage touch to the soft, full skirt, while the intricate beading add the right amount of sparkle.
The reception was anything but dreary with vintage inspired lanterns and white and blush rose flower arrangements. The bridesmaids wore petal pink chiffon gowns with timeless lace bodices and gorgeous deep v-necklines.
While Anita and Will pulled off their romantic and vintage theme, the most precious moment? Seeing each other, and eating as a wedded couple for the first time. Bride Anita’s advice for any bride worried about a mishap on her day?
“When the day comes, just ride the wave and enjoy.”
